What Vehicles are Covered?

​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty applies to New Vehicles sold by the Warrantor within England or Wales. It does not cover vehicles which are exported. For the purposes of this New Vehicle Limited Warranty your vehicle must be returned to the Warrantor’s factory in England in order to obtain warranty service, or to a Warrantor approved cycle repair facility that the Warrantor identifies to carry out the work, which will be situated within England or Wales.

Ownership Transfer

​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty is applicable to the first purchaser of the vehicle ONLY and cannot be transferred to subsequent purchasers.

​Who can enforce this New Vehicle Limited Warranty?

​The first purchaser of a new vehicle sold by the Warrantor within England or Wales (Not Exported Vehicles)

​Territorial Scope

​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers vehicles situated in England and Wales only.

​Statutory Rights

​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty is in addition to your statutory rights. This New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not affect the statutory rights of consumers or exclude or restrict the liability of the Warrantor for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

​When does the warranty period Begin and End

​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty begins on the first day a New Vehicle is delivered by the Warrantor to the first purchaser, or the day it is put into service (for example used as a demonstrator or DryCycle Ltd Company vehicle), whichever comes first, and provides coverage for the parts for a period of 24 months or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first (“the warranty period”). Parts repaired or replaced, including replacement of the vehicle, under this New Vehicle Limited Warranty are covered only until the warranty period of this New Vehicle Limited Warranty ends.

​​Without prejudice to your rights as described in Statutory Rights the exclusive remedy available to you under this New Vehicle Limited Warranty is the repair or replacement of new or re-manufactured parts by the Warrantor for the covered defects. Subject to the exclusions and conditions described in this New Vehicle Limited Warranty, such repair or parts replacement will be performed without cost to you by the Warrantor when the Warrantor is notified of the covered defect within the warranty period. Repairs will be performed using new, reconditioned, or re-manufactured parts at the sole discretion of the Warrantor.

​Warranty Coverage

Subject to the conditions and exclusions described in this New Limited Vehicle Warranty, this New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers components of a New DryCycle against manufacturing defects that cause those components, and/or other components, to fail within the warranty period.

​​Covered is the cost of re-supplying an identical or comparable component to replace a component that is proven to have failed as a result of manufacturing defects. This includes the fitment to the customers DryCycle of any such component at the Warrantor's Bedford site, or at a Warrantor approved cycle repair facility identified by the Warrantor, providing that this is within the territorial scope of this New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Consequential costs or losses are not covered.

The term ‘manufacturing defects’ as used in the New Vehicle Limited Warranty refers to components that have not been correctly manufactured at the time of manufacture and have subsequently failed during normal (non-commercial) use.

The term ‘fail’ as used in the New Vehicle Limited Warranty means to suffer damage such that it prevents the DryCycle from being safely used in normal (non-commercial) use. This does not include cosmetic or other damage that will not impact the safe use of a DryCycle. This also does not include the general appearance of normal noises and vibrations, including but not limited to, brake squeal, general knock, creaks, rattles, and wind and road vibration for which there are no defective components requiring replacement.


  • The territorial scope of this agreement is England and Wales Only;

  • Any claim must be made in writing and accompanied with a proof of purchase, details of failure and photographic evidence of failure;

  • The DryCycle must have been maintained in line with the requirements of the owners manual;

  • The DryCycle must not have been used for commercial purposes;

  • The DryCycle must not have been used off-road, with the exception of evenly surfaced cycle paths; and

  • No warranty is offered on DryCycles subject to abuse, negligence, improper use or modifications.


​This New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover any components which fails, directly or indirectly, due to, or resulting from any of the following:​

  • Accidents, collisions, or objects striking the vehicle;

  • Any repair, alteration or modification of the vehicle that was made inappropriately, or the installation or use of fluids, parts or accessories not suitable for the vehicle;

  • Failure to take the vehicle to, or make repairs or service recommended by the Warrantor upon discovery of a defect covered by this New Vehicle Limited Warranty;

  • Normal wear and tear or deterioration, including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, punctures, tears, depressions, discolouration, wrinkling abrasions or other deformations, stone chips, etc;

  • Any damage resulting from any modification to the vehicles software;

  • Any DryCycle that shows signs of having been attached to a Trailer at any time;

  • Towing the DryCycle;

  • Theft, attempted theft, vandalism or riot;

  • Chemical substances other than those required for maintenance or cleaning, and only then when they have been used as outlined in the owners manual;

  • Fire, explosion, earthquake, windstorm, lightning, hail, flood or other water deeper than the ground clearance of the vehicle;

  • Driving over uneven, rough, damaged, or hazardous surfaces, including but not limited to, kerbs, potholes, unfinished roads, debris, or other obstacles, or in competition or racing, jumping the vehicle, training for such activities/events, or for any other purpose for which the vehicle is not designed;

  • Exposing the vehicle to severe conditions, or climates that are outside England and Wales;

  • Overloading the vehicle; 

  • Using the vehicle for commercial purposes;

  • Using the vehicle or it's batteries as a stationary power source;

  • Modifications from the original condition of the DryCycle;

  • Use of the DryCycle for abnormal, competition, and/or commercial activities or for purposes other than those for which the DryCycle was designed;

  • Damage caused by failing to follow the owner's manual, including, but not limited to, scratching the interior surfaces of the clear polycarbonate parts by using inappropriate materials to wipe them down;

  • Damage caused by washing the DryCycle in a manner other than that described in the owners manual;

  • Damage caused by failing to carry out routine servicing as outlined in the owners manual;

  • The installation or use of non-genuine DryCycle Ltd parts or accessories; and

  • Airborne chemicals, animal or insect droppings, tree sap, salt and road debris.

Additional Exclusions:

The following components/works are excluded from this New Vehicle Limited Warranty:

  • ​Key fob batteries

  • Tyres

  • Brake Pads and Discs

  • Chains

  • Bearings

  • Chain Tensioners

  • Sprockets and Cassettes

  • Routine Servicing and Maintenance

  • Minor adjustments, including, but not limited to, re-torqueing of nuts and bolts (or similar)


Voided Warranty


You are responsible for the proper operation of the vehicle and for receiving and maintaining detailed and accurate records of your vehicle's maintenance, including the 9 digit DryCycle Identification Number ("DIN") which is stamped on the underneath of the chassis of the DryCycle.

Any of the following will void this New Vehicle Limited Warranty:

  • ​Vehicles that have had the DIN defaced or Altered or the Odometer or other related system disconnected, altered or rendered inoperative so that it is difficult to determine the DIN number or actual mileage; and

  • Failing to comply with recall advisories.


Obtaining Warranty Service


​To obtain warranty service, you must notify the Warrantor of the defect/s in writing either by post or email to the appropriate address shown below:

​The notice must be given within the warranty period, and you must then deliver the vehicle, at your expense, during regular business hours to the Warrantor’s factory or a Warrantor approved cycle repair facility. If a Warrantor approved cycle repair facility is to carry out the work then the location of the nearest Warrantor approved cycle repair facility will be given to you when you contact the Warrantor for warranty service. The location of the Warrantor’s factory and Warrantor approved cycle repair facilities is subject to change at any time.

​When you contact the Warrantor please provide the DryCycle Identification Number (DIN), current mileage, and a description and photo of the defect. The DIN is located on the chassis under the vehicle, it is also shown on the vehicle documentation.

Reasonable Time for Repairs


​You must allow the Warrantor a reasonable time for completion of repairs and/or service. Upon notification by the Warrantor of the completion of the vehicle repairs and/or service, you are responsible for picking up the vehicle in a reasonable time, at your own expense.
